Enjoy your Summer holidays!
School reopens for Autumn term – 7th September 2021

Selecting the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family will make and we aim to make your decision as easy and straightforward as possible. We hope that your visit to the school website will provide all the up to date information you need, you can also find a links to further infomation, including the latest Ofsted report. Visits from parents are most welcome and can be arranged through the school office.

Ling Bob is a popular community school which offers Extended School provision. It was built in 1954, existing in its current format since 1988. Of course many changes have taken place and the school continually strives to improve the building to provide a bright modern learning environment serving both the local and wider community for pupils aged 3 to 11.

Our facilities are further enhanced through our links to the adjacent Creations Children’s centre. This provides education and care for children from birth to three years of age and also provides access on site to a wide range of additional services to support families.

Currently Ling Bob is the only Resourced School with provision for Visually Impaired children in Calderdale. As such we are proud of our inclusive ethos and have modified and adapted the buildings to enable access to those with visual and /or physical impairment. This benefits all of our pupils in the way they can move freely and easily around the school and surrounding extensive secure grounds.

From here, pupils move to a range of local secondary schools including Crossley Heath School, North Halifax Grammar School, Sowerby Bridge High School, Trinity Academy, Ryburn Valley High School, St Catherine’s, Halifax High School, Calder Valley High and others throughout Calderdale. Transfer to Brighouse High School is available for those within VI Resourced Provision.
